The internet is a vital tool in today’s commerce.  Perhaps you have a company website and email address, but are you really using the internet to its full marketing potential?  If search engine optimization and pay per click ad campaigns are a foreign concept to you, you may want to do some research.  There are numbers of potential customers looking for your product or service online.  The key to growing your business is to make yourself visible on the web through internet marketing.

Start with your website.  Your website has a title, headings, and bodies of language.  What language and keywords are you using to attract future clients who are searching for you?  Think about what words and phrases you would use to search online for your product or service.  Incorporate that language throughout your website.  As search engines crawl, they will pick up on these keywords, giving you more visibility.  This is referred to as Search Engine Optimization, and it is a vital part of internet marketing.

Use your website language wisely to get the most out of your internet marketing campaign.  There are probably hundreds of websites similar to yours, offering the same products and services.  How do you get recognized over similar companies?  Get specific, find a niche, and pin-point the demographic you’re catering to.  This can help you pick the best keywords and the best sites to advertise with.  Don’t be just a clothing boutique – use keywords to describe your style, your demographic, your unique point of view.  Instead of titling your webpage “Angela’s Boutique,” go with “Angela’s Boutique:  Eco-Friendly Work-Wear for Young Women.”  This way you can stand out amount the crowd.

Another internet marketing technique that is used is email marketing.  Email marketing is just like direct marketing through the mail.  The advantage of email marketing is that the email can link directly to your website where customers can purchase your products and services without having to leave their home or office.  Use your database of customer email addresses to reach them directly.  Send a special coupon or free-shipping code right to the inbox of thousands of your customers.  Link your email to your website to get more traffic and more sales.

Many companies use Pay Per Click internet marketing campaigns to get noticed every time there is a relevant search.  Your company pays a search engine to feature your add when the keywords or phrase of your choice is searched.  Every time your ad is clicked, you pay the search engine.  This type of exposure can translate into big sales for your company.

Internet marketing is more than having a good looking website.  Are you using the right key words?  Are you reaching all of your customers?  Go beyond the basics to get the most out of internet marketing.

Let’s face it. People who accept jobs or quit jobs are actually accepting a job with or quitting their boss. If people like you, are attracted to and believe in you, they will follow.  A home networking business depends on those who believe in you and want to do what you are doing.

Mistakes that people make are that they try to be someone they are not.  They push too hard with the goal of selling instead of setting the goal to make as many connections as possible.  By touching as many people as you can in a positive way, you are already creating your network.  Maybe those people might not join your cause right away, but over time they will.  Build a solid base and reputation and soon your network will grow astronomically.

The first thing to remember is to make people feel comfortable with you and not feel pressured.  Speak with confidence, but not arrogance.  Do not be overbearing.  And invite your audience to interact.  When you speak, mean what you are saying.  If you truly believe in what you are saying, others will as well.

An interactive component can involve not only a question and answer section on you website or blog but also a discussion forum.  Invite conversation, debate and get people excited about what they are talking about.  They can be involved in coming up with solutions and feeling part of the business already.  This sparks more interest and a higher chance of conversion.  Listen and understand what is being said and let the audience lead.

Be sure to smile and throw in a few jokes to make people laugh.  Laughter makes people more comfortable and relaxed and more willing to listen.  Keep your body language friendly and welcoming.  Show trust in your eyes and a relaxed body manner to convey an authentic message.

Personal appearances to promote your business work well if you can get a great response from your audience.  When you have this opportunity, take full advantage of it.  Unlike people visiting your website, you can steer their thoughts and minds in the direction you want by giving them the information they need, packaged in a fun and well put together presentation.  If they like you, they will want to work with you.  It is you that they will believe in and therefore, they will believe in the business and their own potential within it.  They will buy into YOU.

Traffic Stacker is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost.  So I decided to put it to the test…

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel.  It is easy to read and understand.  Joining the site was easy and painless–they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive–I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes.  Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “Traffic Stacker” links.  You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Traffic Stacker Ad Generator, which is very easy to use.  You can create as many links and as many ads as you like.  And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference.  Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login.  Very smart!

After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic.  Just use and promote the new Traffic Stacker link instead of the original source link you had.  Every time the Traffic Stacker link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom.  It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Traffic Stacker.  So if anyone clicks the Traffic Stacker image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral.  It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Traffic Stacker links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked.  So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into Traffic Stacker (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Traffic Stacker image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks.  And this works up to 5 levels deep.  So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Traffic Stacker also.

I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed.  Traffic Stacker even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays.  That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing.  You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Traffic Stacker really shines.  They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but no so often that it’s a burden to your downline.  But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again.  Now THAT’s cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Traffic Stacker.  It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises.  Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

It is important to be at your best when you work from home. Some people might think that a home based business is one in which they can do anything they feel like and not do anything that is difficult for them. Yet, to really succeed in this type of work, you must create your own discipline and practice it with smooth flexibility.

Discipline is not as difficult as it may sound. When you work from home, you will want to set goals. Decide what you want to accomplish and in what period of time. Write it down and post it anywhere that you will see it regularly. Maybe you could make a sign to put above your computer monitor. The goal encourages the discipline when you work from home.

Plan your strategy for accomplishing your goals. Make a Word or Excel document and list all the steps you will need to do to make it to your goal. You can go back to that document and highlight the steps as you complete them, or you can print out the list and check them off as you get them done. Either way, the reward of progress will keep you focused and disciplined in your work from home.

Make appointments and keep them. Any work from home business will benefit from the discipline of setting specific meeting times with customers and associates. Your meeting may be on a conference call or in cyberspace. No matter what medium you use, be sure everyone involved is aware of the time and importance of the meeting. Most of all, do not forget it yourself. Use a computer or paper calendar to schedule these events so that the information is always at your fingertips.

Discipline works wonders in a work from home business. However, you also need to be flexible. If you work from home, your customers may want to do business with you at many different times of the day. You can have a great deal of control over your schedule and still allow for customers and associates who can only contact you at a specified time. You will do best if you are flexible enough to be available to work from home at different times.

Finally, it is good to have flexibility in the amount of income you will be satisfied with each month. As a work from home entrepreneur, you will have great control over whether you succeed or fail. Yet, there will still be times that are leaner than others. There will also be times when you will have to have a plan for that extra money that comes rolling in unexpectedly. With discipline and flexibility, you can make it happen.

So you’ve just gotten involved in Network Marketing, or maybe you’ve been around for a while, and you’re not quite sure how to go about promoting your business and getting people to join your opportunity. Many Marketers today have learned how to use attraction marketing in order to earn people’s trust and have them want to join the opportunity. How can you go about doing this? When someone opts in to find out more about you and what you have to offer, give them something of value for their time. Giving away a Free Report or a Free Ebook that teaches them something is a great thing to use.

4. Set up an Autoresponder. Once you have people opt-in, you are going to want to be able to continue to have interaction with them. Send them daily/bi-weekly messages with useful information to keep them interested in what you have to say.

The internet is an integral part of the business world.  If you own a business, you most likely have a website.  But chances are you aren’t getting enough out of your space online.  Don’t let your site just sit there collecting dust.  If you aren’t getting a lot of virtual foot traffic to your site, you need to revamp your site to make sure it is really working for your company.  The internet is crowded with millions of websites.  How do you get surfers to visit yours?  Traffic building is a vital aspect of growing your business and retaining loyal customers.

Consider the websites you visit again and again.  Why do you keep coming back?  One reason is probably that there is new content posted often to that site.  If your company website consists solely of your contact information, you aren’t going to draw any repeat visitors.  Adding a blog to your site can help traffic building efforts.  Through a company blog, you not only let your current and potential clients know what’s going on, you paint a picture of your company and give them a reason to visit you repeatedly.  For example, if you’re a contractor, it could be as easy as posting pictures of your new projects once a week or every day.  The point is to give people a reason to visit and a reason to come back.

Another way to build traffic to your site is to use SEO keywords.  SEO, or search engine optimization, is a strategic tool that gets customers to your site via search engines.  You can build more traffic to your site by using relevant keywords in the title, headings, and body of your website.  So, if you’re an interior designer, it’s not enough to title your web page “Abbey’s Designs.”  Incorporate specific keywords that are specific to your company.  A much better web page title would be “Abbey’s Designs:  Contemporary Interior Design for your Home.”  Think about terms you would use to search for your own sight.  Look at sights similar to yours and pay attention to their keyword strategy.  Build traffic by highlighted SEO keywords in your web page.

Pay per click campaigns can also increase and build traffic to your company site if you have a little extra cash for advertising.  In a PPC ad campaign, you pay a search engine to feature your company’s ad every time your keyword phrase is searched.  You then pay a certain amount every time your ad is clicked, directing customers to your site.

More traffic to your company’s website means greater recognition and more sales.  Building traffic makes money.  Even if you opt to pay for a PPC campaign, your money could be well spent when you see an increase in traffic and your bottom line.

There has been a surge in Multi Level Marketing as more traditional jobs have decreased or become less profitable. One of the keys used by most of the Multi Level Marketing companies is the mentor relationship. A good mentor will show you the way to succeed and encourage you along the way. Here are a few ways to get help from your up line as well as give help to your down line.

Provide a strong line of communication. There are several options for communications. Phone messaging services are available that will help with Multi Level Marketing by giving you a voicemail box to capture communications specifically to and from your mentor and up line or your down line.

Emails are always helpful in Multi Level Marketing mentoring, as long as you do not rely on them too much. They are handy for reminding your down line of events in your network. Your mentor can use email to quickly check how you are doing in general. She can ask specific questions that will help her to know where you need help.

However, it is not a good idea to rely totally on email for Multi Level Marketing unless you have no other choice. If you can set up phone appointments with your mentor or the person whom you are mentoring, you can get a better feel for that person’s knowledge and dedication. Also, it is one thing to say in an email that you are excited about the new line of products, but you can illustrate how intense that enthusiasm is when you talk to a mentor or member of your down line with your own voice.

Focus on product knowledge. Learn information about the new products, as well as old ones, from your up line. You can then pass that information on to your down line, to the people whom you are mentoring.
