Be creative when thinking of ways to make your product or service more attractive to your target market.  For example, the New York Times increased the type size and spacing in its editorials to make them easier for aging baby boomers to read.

If you can’t afford a fax machine, then consider signing up for your own, free virtual fax number.  You can get your own online fax number that will send your faxes directly to your e-mail inbox.  If you travel a lot and need to receive faxes from the office, this service is a godsend.

You may be losing valuable traffic and not even know it!  Here’s something you may never have thought of before:

If I were to type your domain name — http://www.yourdomain.com — into my web browser without the “WWW” so it looked like this:

http://yourdomain.com … would I be immediately sent to your site or would I receive a “Page Not Found” error?  Don’t be too quick to answer.  Think about it.  Have you tried this before?

Because while most web hosts and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are now set up to accept both, some are not!  And this means that visitors who drop the “WWW” and simply type “yourdomain.com” into their browsers may be getting an error message… and you may be losing valuable traffic!

If you try this and find that “yourdomain.com” doesn’t work, contact your web host or ISP and request that they make the necessary changes.  It’s a quick 5-minute fix for them… and everyone they service will benefit.

Some may try to charge you a fee for this change, but I would argue that this is a common service provided by the majority of ISPs and web hosts today.  If they want to remain competitive and keep your business, then you shouldn’t have to pay.

However, if they still insist on charging you, and the fee is minimal, then you should pay it.  After all, you’re probably losing valuable traffic that will more than pay for this expense in the long run.

It’s such a minor problem… but it could be losing you major traffic! So check into this today!

Viruses are hazardous to the health of your computer… and your business.  While there was once a time when the only way you could be infected by a virus was by downloading software from an FTP site or by exchanging floppy disks, today’s viruses pose a threat of a much greater magnitude.  Why?  Because e-mail has made the transferring of information so incredibly easy… and FAST!

It’s pretty scary to think that you can get a virus simply by opening a funny e-mail that a friend sent you… or by opening a file that you’ve downloaded off the Internet. However, if you protect yourself properly, it is unlikely that you will ever have this problem!

One of the best ways to prevent viruses is by installing virus detection software.  However, do not just install it and forget about it!  New viruses are created every day, so you need virus detection software that will automatically update itself on a regular basis. Once a week, if not more frequently, is usually best.

There are dozens of packages available from your local software dealer … or through Internet downloads. Be sure that you can get regular updates for the package you choose. Some even offer versions that will automatically update themselves every week by logging online, protecting you against the multitude of new viruses that are created every day!

Marketing and selling both promote a product, but are vastly different in their approach if you are doing it right.  Often times marketing jobs can appear to involve selling, when in reality a good marketer should be promoting, educating and exciting people about a product.

A network marketing business may at first look like a sales job.  At first glace you may think that you are selling products and selling opportunities to build your downline.  But in reality what you want to be doing is marketing your business and creating interest.

Marketing is about creating excitement about a product and making it a MUST HAVE item.  In essence, it is not a hard sell, but an awareness about what the product can do for the customer.  Building a brand and having a following is essential to a good marketing campaign.

To market successfully, one must get their name out to the public in a variety of mediums.  But getting your name out is not good, if once people arrive at your website, you lose them with a boring site.  You want to entice the customer, making them want to be a part of it.  Similar to the dating game, coming on too strong can turn someone off, but being boring is a sure way to lose them as well.  There is a perfect balance between the two that wins.

You want people to want in, to want to be a part of this exciting opportunity and to believe in the product and/or business.  There should never be a sales pitch that pushes a potential client.  High pressure sales does not work in this arena and only drives people away.  The more pressure behind a sale, the more illegitimate a product looks.

A network marketing business relies on followers, building a clientele and building relationships.  The best way to begin any relationship is with trust and understanding.  By evaluating the needs of your audience, you can cater to them and appeal to their inner self.  Create the need in them by positioning your business and product as something they cannot live without.

Market with creativity.  Use it as an opportunity to express yourself and bring in like minded individuals that will not only become successful in their own right, but contribute to your success and the success of your business.  Multi level marketing can be a win win for everyone involved.

We’ve all heard the saying that the “Money is in the List”.  There are so many different list building and traffic generating sites out there it’s hard to know which ones are the best to use.  I have recently discovered “Simplicity Ads“  Their tagline is: “Effective Free Advertising Made Simple”.

Traffic Stacker is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost.  So I decided to put it to the test…

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel.  It is easy to read and understand.  Joining the site was easy and painless–they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive–I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes.  Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “Traffic Stacker” links.  You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Traffic Stacker Ad Generator, which is very easy to use.  You can create as many links and as many ads as you like.  And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference.  Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login.  Very smart!

After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic.  Just use and promote the new Traffic Stacker link instead of the original source link you had.  Every time the Traffic Stacker link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom.  It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Traffic Stacker.  So if anyone clicks the Traffic Stacker image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral.  It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Traffic Stacker links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked.  So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into Traffic Stacker (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Traffic Stacker image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks.  And this works up to 5 levels deep.  So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Traffic Stacker also.

I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed.  Traffic Stacker even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays.  That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing.  You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Traffic Stacker really shines.  They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but no so often that it’s a burden to your downline.  But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again.  Now THAT’s cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Traffic Stacker.  It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises.  Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.
